This guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite emcees. David Dallas is from New Zealand and he has hooked up with Duck Down Records, yes, the home of Heltah Skeltah, Black Moon, Sean Price, Rock and the whole Boot Camp Clik. Hopefully his entrance to the U.S. will be met with applause because dude is nice.
New mixtape from my boys Pac Div. Didn't have time to check it out in its entirety, was blogging from work on the low-low. Leave a comment and left me know if it goes hard. Download after the jump.
This is King Mez from Raleigh, NC with Khrysis on the production. This EP is straight fire, King Mez has a unique, electrifying voice. Stayed tuned into this guy, he has enormous talent.
Straight f*cking heat! This track is bananas. Big K.R.I.T. is the truth, he composes thought provoking classics. Who ever thought southern rappers were all ignorant need to stop listening to the radio and BET (because most of those on the radio and Bet are). I hope Big K.R.I.T. has an album slated soon, I know he recently signed to Def Jam and you know how them huge labels mismanage and failed to market true talent. Hopefully we hear an album from J. Cole too, come on Jay, sign cats because you are going to release them not to be pretentious.
New track from Saigon featuring Joe Budden. Nice two see two dope emcees settle their disagreements and come together for the art. Saigon's long anticipated album, The Greatest Story Ever Told, is slated for release tomorrow. Check out the link below to preview the album
Banging track from Saigon featuring Black Thought. Two lyrical heavy weights on this song, what could go wrong? Saigon is one the most underrated emcees, his insight is reminiscent of a young Nas; he always provide socially conscious lyrics. Check out this joint it is definitely worth the four minutes.
A mellow cut from the artist Halo, from 9th Wonder's It's A Wonderful World Music Group (IWWMG), produced by 9th Wonder himself. Make sure you check out IWWMG's website after the jump.
